The academic content will include:<ul style="color: rgb(60, 60, 60); font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"> <li> biology of the periodontium and oral physiology;</li> <li> general principles of oral microbiology;</li> <li> functional anatomy of the head and neck and oral anatomy;</li> <li> pharmacology.</li></ul> This unit will equip the participant with a detailed knowledge of scientific background forming the basis of non-surgical and surgical management of periodontal diseases.
