<p><span style="color: rgb(60, 60, 60); font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">This aspect will run throughout the programme. Emphasis will be placed on diagnosis and treatment planning of prosthodontic rehabilitative care. This is obtained via placement on, and involvement in, consultant referral clinics, as well as clinical treatment which will include the provision of fixed prostheses and complete and partial removable prostheses in addition to any preliminary restorative care.</span></p>

<p>The aim of the clinical units is to give the student an understanding of the scientific basis of fixed and removable prosthodontics, with particular emphasis on current theories relevant to the diagnosis, treatment planning and clinical management of adult patients.</p>
