This module will provide advanced training in the treatment of patients</p></div> <p>Knowledge and Understanding</p><p>1. &nbsp;The student will be able to plan and carry out advanced treatment for patients. &nbsp;&nbsp;<br />2. &nbsp;In this unit, students will learn a thorough understanding of all disciplines in restorative dentistry&nbsp;<br />3. &nbsp; Their treatment should be evidence-based so that they are able to predict likely outcomes of failure. &nbsp;<br />4. &nbsp;plan successful treatment that has a known success rate, organising treatments events so that successful replacement therapy can be planned should treatment of particular teeth fail. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>Intellectual Skills</p><p>1. investigate and describe the literature concerning advanced treatment techniques.<br />2. &nbsp;plan and carry out advanced treatment for patients. &nbsp; This will allow them to present the clinical cases at the end of the unit where at least two disciplines of omit restorative &nbsp;dentistry have been used.
