DRAM60171 Independent Project 30 Semester 1 Postgraduate Taught Level 7 Johannes Sjoberg Unit coordinator 1 FHEQ level (Framework for Higher Education Qualifications) ' Masters/Integrated Masters P4 ' European Credit Transfer & Accumulation System Rating : 15.0 The Independent Project course unit allows students to engage in independent, self-directed learning in an area of practice-based research, including (but not exclusive to) filmmaking, participatory video, audio design, curatorial practice, and screenwriting. The student will be provided with an opportunity to work closely with an academic member of staff on an area of interest to the student and research specialism of the member of staff and to produce a sustained piece of practice research and writing. Student and academic work together to construct a programme of work and assessment, and this is supported by regular supervision meetings through the semester.   The Independent Project course unit allows students to engage in independent, self-directed learning in an area of practice-based research, including (but not exclusive to) filmmaking, participatory video, audio design, curatorial practice, and screenwriting.
