<div> <p>The dissertation aims to develop and test a number of your ability to: • Design an independent research project • Define reasonable aims, objectives in the light of background information presented • Make appropriate observations and measurements in the field and/or collate information from published and/or manuscript sources pertinent to stated aims and objectives • Employ, relevant laboratory, quantitative and cartographic analytical techniques • Present information and ideas in a literate form using appropriate illustrations and without mixing data with discussion • Critically integrate and evaluate all your data in the light of other published work • Make reasonable conclusions from the data and background information that are relevant to your original aims and objectives, recognise that uncertainty is present within your dataset (in terms of sampling scale, analytical techniques, and appropriateness of analytical techniques) in the light of related published work</p></div><p> </p>
