    <Content>&lt;p&gt;This is primarily a work-based learning unit. Blackboard will be used for communication, provision of information and assessment. Academic supervisors will utilise Blackboard to view coursework and provide feedback. &amp;nbsp;On-site visits will be paid to students in their workplace (or remote/skype interviews for placements abroad) to establish how well the student has integrated in the workplace and developed as an employee.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;General assistance throughout the unit includes:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;The provision of comprehensive unit information via Blackboard (documents, podcasts, etc.)&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;An opportunity for students to communicate with their Academic Supervisor by email, telephone and or Zoom throughout the placement year.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Formative feedback throughout the unit via e-logs to help students gauge their progress and to check their understanding.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p&gt;Transferable skills including business communication, project work, team work, presentation skills and writing skills will be developed in this unit.
