Corrosion protection systems are discussed, with a broad overview of mechanisms and measurement techniques. Topics include:&lt;br /&gt;&amp;bull;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Aqueous solution chemistry pertinent to corrosion processes.&lt;br /&gt;&amp;bull;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;The electrochemical mechanisms and theory of aqueous corrosion.&lt;br /&gt;&amp;bull;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Direct current (DC) theory, limitations with typical applications.&lt;br /&gt;&amp;bull;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Overview of methods for monitoring corrosion with a discussion of means to quantify corrosion damage.&lt;br /&gt;&amp;bull;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Principles of high temperature corrosion and oxidation phenomena.&lt;br /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;</Content>
