    <Content>&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:12px;"&gt;Students will be introduced to advanced software for human measurement and custom product development as well as the principles and protocols necessary for creating a scalable system. Consideration will be given to developing skills in operating a bespoke production line using state of the art technologies and harnessing cutting edge skills. Students will focus on developing an understanding of custom product development, fabric consideration and they will explore garment fit through simulated fit session and virtual fit using Lectra 3D&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:12px;"&gt;Brief Syllabus:&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:12px;"&gt;Dr S Gill&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:12px;"&gt;The practical realities of using body scanning technology and applying theories and practices in the creation of bespoke clothing will be explored. A range of teaching approaches will provide an overview of the current state of knowledge for personalised product development and students will engage in the specification and development of custom products using advanced software. Size Stream body scanning, Shima Seiki knit technology and Lectra Modaris and 3D will be used to guide you through the steps and considerations for creating bespoke products. The final aspects of the unit will explore real and virtual fit assessment and consumer perceptions helping to prepare you to develop solutions for future practice in product and bespoke product development.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:12px;"&gt;Dr H Owens&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:12px;"&gt;Resource Allocation and Project Management &amp;ldquo;No problem is so big or so complicated that it can&amp;rsquo;t be run away from.&amp;rdquo; &amp;ndash; Charlie Brown (Charles Schultz, Peanuts).&amp;nbsp; During this unit we&amp;rsquo;ll discuss project planning, project management and resource allocation.&amp;nbsp; Quantitative Methods such as PERT and CPM for optimising project duration and resource allocation will be introduced.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:12px;"&gt;Prof P Potluri&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:12px;"&gt;Advanced weaving and braiding technologies for creating complext 3D shaped artefacts.
