Students will gain a fundamental understanding of the basic principles of the immune system and the types of immune response that can be generated. Students will also be introduced to the main categories of immune disorders that are investigated in the clinical laboratory and an understanding of the clinical immunology as a healthcare discipline.</p> <p> The introduction to Clinical Immunology unit aims to provide students with an overview of immunity and the principles and practice of Clinical Immunology.
