You will focus on kidney transplantation, as an exemplar of solid organ transplantation, and haematopoietic progenitor cell transplantation (HPCT). For each of these, you will gain an understanding of the clinical indications for transplantation, available donor options, and the clinical investigation of immunological compatibility used in patient:donor selection strategies.
