    <Content>&lt;p&gt;The course aims to provide the students with a theoretical and practical overview of the key areas of Human Resource (HR) practices in organisations. The course focuses on developing a critical/ academic awareness of the conceptualization and implementation of HR policy and practice, especially in the context of international development. Lectures and Tutorials explore the possibilities and problems of using HR techniques and, where possible identifying good practice in organisations in different countries. It also expects to widen students’ understanding of HRM and HRD Practices in developing countries. &amp;nbsp;Studying this unit will broaden knowledge of the relationship amongst HRM concepts, policies and practices in various sectors in the society; especially in international development related contexts.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;</Content>
