needs</li></ul> The unit aims to provide knowledge and integrative understanding of paediatric audiology in order to meet the requirements for employment in hearing healthcare service or research. <ul><li>Critically evaluate child and public health issues and initiatives with regard to hearing in children</li><li>Show integrative understanding of the basis of maturational and developmental appropriateness of different behavioural and objective techniques to assess hearing in children</li><li>Critically evaluate the evidence for management and support of paediatric hearing impairment (eg permanent childhood hearing loss, OME, ANSD etc)</li><li>Contextualise childhood hearing loss from the psychosocial, educational, developmental and medical perspective</li><li>Critically evaluate and reflect upon the evidence and value of holistic child- and family-centred transdisciplinary care in paediatric audiology</li></ul> <ul><li>Be able to critically appraise scientific literature.</li><li>Be able to critically analyse and objectively interpret information/data.</li></ul> <ul><li>Present information clearly in the form of verbal and written
