Interview dates are as follows: Thurs 13 October, Fri 14 October, Thurs 20 October, Thurs 10 November&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;3. Attendance at Leadership of Learning seminars is mandatory. You should not enrol onto&lt;a name="Pg6"&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;these course units unless you are able to attend all the seminars.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;a. The 2022-2023 timetable is given below&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;4. The units include the following teaching and learning sessions:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ol&gt;	&lt;li&gt;Five two-hour seminars run at the start of the course over a two-week period;&lt;/li&gt;	&lt;li&gt;One two-hour seminar half way through the placement;&lt;/li&gt;	&lt;li&gt;Ten placement half days spread over a ten-week period on the same day each week that is suitable for both the student and the placement school;&lt;/li&gt;	&lt;li&gt;For the 20 credit unit, there are three further two-hour seminars spread over three weeks&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ol&gt;&lt;p&gt;5. You may opt for a primary or secondary placement depending on availability of places.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;For a secondary placement, you will support teaching and pupils&amp;#39; learning of a curriculum subject that is closest to your degree discipline. If there is not a suitable match, your A level subjects may be considered depending on your A Level subjects and grades. For example, high A Level grades in Science subjects, Maths, English, History would be considered if you are studying Engineering, Law, Psychology or PPE.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;6. You must have a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check overseen by the University of Manchester to be accepted on this unit. A DBS check takes about four weeks and this needs to be successfully completed before being accepted on the unit.&lt;/p&gt;</Content>
