    <Content>&lt;P&gt;The unit aims to: 1) develop the four language skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking) at advanced level. 2) cover a wide range of advanced grammar and vocabulary with the focus on usage. 3) prepare students for the Cambridge Proficiency in English exam (CPE).&lt;BR&gt;&lt;BR&gt;The course is designed to further develop the language skills of students who have met the English language requirement for entry onto credit-rated English Language courses run by the University Language Centre (minimum IELTS 7.5). The elements which constitute the course relate directly to the needs of visiting students who are already proficient in the language but who need to further develop their communication skills, enhance their language awareness, and refine their language use. The course also serves as preparation for the Cambridge Proficiency in English (CPE), should students wish to sit for this.&lt;/P&gt;</Content>
