    <Content>&lt;p&gt;This course is designed to consolidate students&amp;rsquo; level of proficiency, not only with the use of complex grammatical structures in the French language but also by offering a wider range of higher advanced sophisticated written and aural texts on both concrete and abstract topics including articles and reports concerned with contemporary issues. Students will also gain experience in translating primary texts from and into French. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Students will gain proficiency in the ability to appreciate and use nuanced language at this, the ability to appreciate and use tone, register, structure and style in oral and written communication and the ability to interact and negotiate orally in complex situations at a higher advanced level.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The course also serves as preparation for the French Ministry of Education Dipl&amp;ocirc;me Approfondi de Langue Fran&amp;ccedil;aise (DALF- C1) should students wish to sit for this internationally recognized qualification independently (this exam is not organised by LEAP).&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;</Content>
